Theanine General Information
Theanine is an amino acid found in green tea. It produces sedative effects in the brain. For centuries green tea has been used in the Orient for its calming, curative properties. Theanine is a "feel good" supplement and causes no adverse reactions. In Japan, chewing gum and soft drinks are spiked with it to help induce relaxation. Theanine does not make you drowsy or groggy.
