Since 1900 Rooibos Red Tea has been treasured as an elixir for the mind body and spirit. The local Mountain People were drinking a particular beverage that they called Red Bush in English. This rich red tea comes from a wild plant of the legume family called Aspalathus linearis which grows on the slopes of the Cederberg Mountains in Cape Town. They believed this tea to have tremendous healing powers and it is often called The Miracle Tea in South Africa. Pure Red Tea Powder A fine powder, soluble in both cold and hot water, made from an aqueous extract of natural Red Tea (Rooibos) tea leaves. The raw tea leaves have been fermented. It has been harvested, sterilized and extracted using water process only, without the use of chemicals or alcohol. This is a super concentrated powder. To obtain tea equivalent in single strength (1 cup), add 1/4 teaspoon of powder to every cup of water or 1/2 teaspoon to every liter of water, hot or cold. A half teaspoon serves at least ten cups of delicious Iced Tea, or add to your smoothies or favorite beverages for your daily antioxidant boost.
