• Beeswax scales are secreted from the wax glands on the underside of the worker bees.
• Natural color of the wax will develop a frosted appearance over time, called "Bloom". Bloom is a natural process created by the cupping of the microscopic beeswax scales on the surface of the candle. This delicate powdery coating is appreciated as an indicator of a pure quality product. If you prefer the shiny appearance, simply buff your candle with a soft cloth.
• To remove spilled wax or to clean candleholders, simply place in a freezer. Wax is then easily chipped off.

Candle Care

Burn all candles in or on appropriate holders. When burning your candles, be there to enjoy them. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BURNING CANDLE UNATTENDED. Be careful with "closed type" candleholders - beeswax burns 2-3 times hotter than other candles.

Trim wicks to 1/2 inch. Burn in a draft-free environment. Snuff out wicks.
